The Atheist’s Flaw: Science & Religion, an Unholy Union
I’ve spent many years traveling and studying different religions. Even today, I am extremely curious about why we believe in something that many would call myths. This series of episodes will answer any questions you might have about why we follow religions and if religion and science can live in harmony.
Our guest for this series is an Oxford Professor of Mathematics, John Lennox. Professor Lennox holds the controversial belief that God and science are not at odds but are made for each other. He has debated many famous scientists, including Richard Dawkins, Christopher Hitchens, and Peter Singer. Professor Lennox has authored many books on this issue including, Can Science Explain Everything? and 2084 – Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Humanity.
Professor John Lennox is also the author of 70 mathematical papers in Algebra (Theory of Groups) and co-author of two Oxford Mathematical Monographs. He also teaches Leadership at the Business School at Oxford University. His work is the focus of a recent documentary made with Kevin Sorbo called Against the Tide. Professor Lennox’s latest book is Cosmic Chemistry: Do God and Science Mix? .
